The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends eating 5 helpings of fruits and vegetables per day. However, 						around 75% of people worldwide do not meet this recommended intake3. Moreover, a varied and balanced diet is 						important. It is therefore best to eat fruits and vegetables from all five colour groups, since plants contain 						not only diverse vitamins and minerals but also phytonutrients. 						Phytonutrients – also referred to as phytochemicals - are organic components found in plants. The term ‘phyto’ 						originates from a Greek word meaning plant.
